Project discovery

Walk the product automatically, suggest scenarios, and capture observations when you do not have many tests yet.

Before you start

Section titled “Before you start”
  • A project with a valid URL.
  • Optionally a test account under Access.
  • Mode: Cautious exploration or Test environment.
  • Cloud balance, or an OpenRouter key in local mode.

How to start discovery

Section titled “How to start discovery”
  1. Open the project → Explore project (or the Discoveries tab).
  2. Set Start URL, Interaction mode, Test account, optional Product notes, and Discovery limits.
  3. Click Start discovery.
  4. Review Suggested scenarios, Observed states, and Issues.
  5. Select scenarios → Add selected to tests.

If limits stop the session, use Continue or Edit discovery.

If something goes wrong

Section titled “If something goes wrong”
  • A suggestion does not prove a feature works until it is checked.
  • Stops include limits, captcha, action policy, or sign-in failure.
  • Zero model spend may mean heuristics instead of the LLM — check the API key.
  • Deleting a discovery keeps tests you already added.
